Research Areas: Entrepreneurship, Large Incumbent Firms’ Innovation Strategy
Lei Yu is the assistant professor of Business School in Sun Yat-sen University. He receives his PhD from Guanghua School of Management in Peking University. He was also a visiting Ph.D. student in London Business School during 2018-2019. Lei’s research focuses on entrepreneurship and large incumbent firms’ innovation strategy. Specifically, he examines the influence of incumbent-startup interactions on the incumbent firm’s strategic behaviors and performance. His research has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Management World, and Research Policy. His research has received support from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, etc.
