The School also focuses on students' growth, integrates general education with specialized education and enhances students’ability to learn, follow theoretical guidance and take action in order to cultivate socialist builders and successors who are fully developed in virtue, intelligence, physical fitness, beauty and labor. The School strives to cultivate first-class interdisciplinary innovators in economics and management who have international perspectives, local commitment, entrepreneurship skills, social responsibility, critical thinking, teamwork, and organizational communication abilities, preparing them to serve the high-quality economic and social development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the nation.

Cultivation System

The Business School (Entrepreneurship School) ensures that education performs its fundamental mission of fostering virtue and is committed to nurturing interdisciplinary professionals in both “management” and “economics.” In designing the curriculum for economics and management, the system considers the differences between disciplines and reflects the unique characteristics of each, while also emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature. The above approach is reflected in several key aspects: The first is to unify Fundamental specialized courses and cover fundamental principles and introductory content in both economics and management. The second is to prioritize the distinctive features and foundation knowledge in specialized core courses. The third is to offer modules such as “Management,” “Economics,” “Finance,” “Cross-Discipline,” and “Integrated Bachelor’s and Master Programs” in optional specialized courses. Core courses in economics and management are also available as electives for each other. Through these modular courses and mutual elective options, the curriculum highlights the interdisciplinary feature of the program, broadens students' academic scope, and develops students’ academic interests to their full potential.
